Changing an appointment, how deposits work, and when money comes back.

Booking through this website is a request. Nothing is charged when you submit a form, and no appointment is confirmed until we speak with you.
The complimentary fault-code scan advertised on our promotions page is free with no obligation. A full diagnosis — where a technician spends time tracing an actual fault — is quoted to you before it starts, and you approve it before we begin. Once that diagnostic time has been performed it is not refundable, because the work of finding the fault has been done, whether or not you go ahead with the repair.
Some European parts are ordered specifically for your vehicle and cannot be returned to the supplier. When that applies to your job we tell you before ordering, and we may ask for a deposit.
Once a repair is finished and the vehicle has been returned to you, the labor and parts have been supplied, so we do not issue refunds on completed work. What we do instead is stand behind it: if the repair fails, it is covered by our 24-month / 20,000-mile warranty and we make it right at no charge.
If you believe you were billed for something you didn't approve, call us. We will pull the estimate and the authorization and correct any genuine billing error — that is not a refund request, that is us fixing a mistake, and we would want to know.
We do not sell memberships, subscriptions or any product that bills you on a recurring basis. You pay once, per visit, for the work you approved. There is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews automatically.
If you paid using Affirm, Klarna or Sunbit, any refund we issue goes back through that provider, not directly to you in cash. Your payment schedule with them is adjusted according to their own terms. Questions about your balance or payments go to the provider — we are not the lender.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank; that timing is set by the card networks, not by us.
Most problems get solved faster with a phone call than with a form. If something isn't right, call the shop and ask for the owner.
